Established in 1994, Solar City Tyres is a local independent business servicing commercial companies, local farmers and earthmoving companies. We pride ourselves on customer service, and measure success by the amount of repeat business we get. Many of our customers have been using Solar City Tyres since it was founded.

Solar City Tyres commenced light truck and truck retreading operations and became an authorized Bandag dealer in August 1994.  At the same time the company became an authorized Bridgestone franchise servicing the greater Goulburn Valley and southern NSW.

Since inception Solar City Tyres has had the benefit of the Bandag developed Ultrasonic NDI analyzer for detecting hidden defects within tyre casings.  This has enhanced our abilities to effectively retread and repair tyres which otherwise may have been discarded and to eliminate tyres that are unsafe.

We can assist customers with the management of its tyre retreading and replacement program and provide cost per kilometer data to assist companies with their tyre management decisions.

Solar City Tyres moved into bigger more modern premises in January 2003, comfortably producing 60 tyres per day with the capability, since the move, to dramatically increase production.

To compliment its business we also market a range of new truck, tractor, industrial and passenger tyres, along with tubes, batteries and rims.  The company also has affiliations with another tyre company in the area located at Echuca, and operates 9 mobile service vehicles, and a 24-7 onsite service, further enhancing the complete service package.
